The event is organized around 5 highlights
:
- fromchildren's events:
* girls' athletic awakening at 3:45 p.m.
* boys' athletic wake-up call at 4 p.m.
* chicks and chicks (1500 meters) at 4:10 p.m.
* youngest and youngest (2,500 meters) at 4:25 p.m.
At 4:45 p.m. the podiums will take place
- At 5 p.m., a 5 km race for runners (from 2005)
- At 5 p.m., joint start of the 10 km (for runners from 2003)
- At 5 p.m., start of the 5 or 10 km hikes
This day is focused on sharing: people with physical and mental disabilities will participate in the adapted buggy, joëlette and hiking events.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
This is our youngest ... and this is not the only reason why we are particularly keen on it: our goal is in 2020 - as was the case in 2019, 2018 and in 2017 - to reap some benefits that will be fully donated to a charity.
In 2017, during the first edition, 1,700 euros were donated to the Nivernaise association for the fight against multiple sclerosis. In 2018, 2,300 euros were donated to the Autism 58 association.
In 2019, despite the winter weather, the collective les zalumé left with a check for € 1,500.(an association that helps seriously ill children in Bourgogne Franche-Comté)
Hervé and his whole team are setting up a 5 and 10 km on road and main roads which are generally flat .... Yes, if you read correctly: in Morvan Oxygene, we can also do flat!Ok, you have to go a little lower in Chatillon en Bazois, move along the canal a bit and meander through the Bazois grove to return to the gardens of the beautiful castle which gave the village its name.
Free children's races (open to children born in 2014 and before) will take place from 3.30 p.m. (Remember to come earlier for registrations).
Please note, this year registrations, departures and arrivals will take place at the fairgrounds.
We were almost going to forget the DATE: it will be SATURDAY MAY 2, 2020.

Faster was the roaming in "I pulverize the record" mode for Alexandre Dubois in 5.30 p.m.
Testing SCOTT in Guéret (23) for several of our young people and Cédric on the possible circuit of the 2024 Olympics. A great experience with very high-end gear!

A great initiative from Fabrice and UFOLEP 58 in this very sad month of March: an ECD is a Distanced Timed Training ... all on a 14 km circuit around the base, the good old technical trail imagined by Cédric , marked out by Christophe, Noel, Thierry and Cédric. A great time to redo and generalize to other practices, Trail in particular.
Beautiful end of winter trip to the rock saluting the memory of R.Bazot ... with the oldest of the young people who tried to follow the ancestors :)

First Night, a full night on the mountain bike on a fun circuit (heuuu at the start, technical at will in any case) for Arnaud, Quentin and the brother! A great team which finished 8th on this crazy night!
GTMC the INTEGRALE !!! And yes he did: left the Morvan, Cédric joined the Mediterranean; 3 weeks of an unforgettable journey through the highlands. Listening to the hosts, he would be one of the first - or even the first? - to do the integral;
Weighbridge redone after the deterioration of those who confuse mountain bike weighbridge and slap butt! Maybe one day will they understand that the axis of a weighbridge is not centered?
That's it: we are officially the ufolep mountain bike school!

Saturday 12/15: night out. Cold, rain then freezing rain .. a real ice rink but a nice outing around Chateau-Chinon. We met the trail runners and walkers afterwards at the base for an evening of mulled wine and soup! Perfect to end the year!
Federal Patent training, let's go for 5 of us, supervised by Fabrice, Ufolep 58 and Vincent, National Technical Advisor. Despite the rain, 10 young boars came to serve as guinea pigs. In addition, 4 strong boars tried to outsmart the elements! Ok, one of them is Breton and used to the flood .... but the others ???
Ride together and share time afterwards ... Simple things, a moment of happiness, an unalterable memory .... that's mountain biking !!!

Climatic contrast one week later: only water: departure from the settons to the Gouloux jump and back. Lake water. Water from the river and its tributaries. Water from the sky !!!!
After the morning cleaning work, a lunch in the sun (for a November 3rd, it's not bad!), We made the choice to evolve on the banks of Pannecière, taking advantage of its very (very) low level. We have thus avoided branches as much as possible ... even if it means really getting out of the way !!
Saturday November 3. After the week's damage to the trees following the first snowfalls, the young people gave a big hand in cleaning the mountain bike trails and the base. So a bit special session this morning ... Big thank you to all!
First weekend of a major project: the GTMC ... at least the GTM together .... 3 first steps done. For some Sundays, the choice fell on the Frimas, an essential hike from Quarré.
20 km of real Morvandiau circuit around Chateau-Chinon and Saint Léger. Big well deserved snack afterwards!
Saturday morning training under a beautiful autumn sun. Work on the base circuit then out into the forest in single track areas. A delight !
For the technical work of our (big) fifteen young fans of the mountain biking section, Cédric has just carried out a seesaw, an essential element to continue technical learning on the internal circuit at the nature base.
17 young people (from 10 years old) supervised by Cédric, Stef, Thierry, Thomas, Léa and a volunteer dad first worked in the base, on the circuit combining driving and handling exercises before riding on the first single-track from the surrounding communal forest.
Our mountain bike section was born in September 2017. After a year of existence, it seemed to us, following strong demand, normal and necessary to open to the youngest (over 10 years) from September 2018. Under the direction from Cédric, a first group of young people met on the morning of July 14 .... They are the first in a long history ....

La Forestière 2021, September, Oyonnax: this will undoubtedly remain a great bib, one of those bibs that will mark you forever and make your history. Well done Alex and Aurélien.
Beginning of September: cadet team comp at the 4 hours of Verdigny, in relay. A great third place!
Multi-activity course for teenagers. full nature at the beginning of August: it was intense with mountain biking, bike and run, canoeing, paddle, swimming, water rescue ... all in poor weather. Great group supervised by Thierry, Maël, Marie, Fabien and Nicolas

MOUNTAIN BIKE SCHOOL RESUME Saturday 19/09/2020
Confinement : take care of you TIO's! In the meantime, there are a lot of things to do: maintain your mountain bike (yes, yes, for some it will be useful! Learn to do mechanics: there are plenty of tutorials. Stay still (we launched a contest), jump boards (without breaking the pedal) in bunny up, "trialize" a little ..... On the way back we will have some surprises on new material !!
Continuation of the work of the base: shape and ride of almost spring. A new trial module, a springboard, a pallet table ... Cleaning of downhill mountain biking tracks. Thank you young people!
Carto hike outing. Points on the map to reach .... We took advantage of a beautiful February sun!
Testing of our "manual" machine !!! Well it works!
Session adapted during the Last Man Standing. Young mountain bikers opened and closed the first races. ALexy and Clara have opened them all afternoon.

Saturday 6/04: shape and ride morning: in the educational project, the principle is to show children that nothing happens without nothing. In short, they came with their shovels, their pickaxes and their courage! ... and we built some nice trial modules! you work and you drive afterwards!

It was cold but we were able to move around the base to warm up and then in town and play on the ordeal ... We also had the test of emergency numbers, safety points to validate our green link. We each have our own now attached to the base!

In a more detailed version, here is:
- we arrive in the helmet base and we enter the bike by hand
- we greet (adults and children) with the common “check” of hello.
- we go to the technical control (in pairs, under the watchful eye of a supervisor who then issues a retro-reflective armband, testifying to the control carried out). 5 POINTS must ALWAYS be checked on the MTB: the saddle, the stem, the tightening of the wheels, the brakes, the inflation. We add of course to the HELMET and another point: check that nothing is dragging and could get caught in the chain or the wheel: laces, bag straps etc.
- we warm up with games then.
At the end of the session,
- we wash the bike,
- we will make the armband retro-reflective and we will collect our things
- we "check" to say goodbye. We go out on foot and still wearing a helmet.

MESSAGE TO PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND OUR APPROACH
This is integrated into the device KID BIKE set up by UFOLEP
1 ° The discovery of mountain biking and the improvement of its practice through an original learning process: technical fundamentals and transversal knowledge (mechanics, map reading, safety, etc.).
2 ° An educational progression aimed at making young people complete mountain bikers. This is the reason why our young people will acquire skills gradually. The acquisition of a certain level will be validated by bicycle chain links of different colors.
3 ° The pleasure of mountain biking with friends, meet in the MO² base
This system brings together: children, parents, guides, leaders and association leaders.
The KID BIKE is UFOLEP's response to the many societal issues surrounding the practice of cycling: mobility (going to school, to the sports club, etc.), access to sports, the fight against sedentary lifestyle, education in road safety, respect for the environment,….
